Public Domain Photos and Drawings
These photos are released by the ALC into the public domain for use by
school teachers, parents, language lab administrators, and literacy volunteers who may be producing visual materials for classroom use, or brochures, funding proposals, worksheets, grant applications, reformed spelling articles, white papers or anything that assists cultural awareness of illiteracy and its tragic consequences..
Some of the photos were taken by ALC staff. Others are from ALC articles and books written by staff members. A few were purchased for use by the ALC and its members. All photos are prohibited from being used in brochures or papers where more than 150,000 copies are being printed. They may be used on literacy-related web sites, small video productions, and normal written materials, of course.
